The Secret Code Breakers and Cipher Machines video tells the story of the development of cipher machines beginning in 1920.

It was the invention of rotors that made possible the operation of a cipher machine. These machines and more are described in the Secret Code Breaker series of books along with computer programs that assist the code breaker in learning how to break cipher machine codes.
